How do I connect my Samsung watch?

You will need to have both the Samsung Health and Health Connect apps downloaded. First, go to the Google Play Store and download the Samsung Health app, and create a user account if you don't already have one. The Health Connect app will be downloaded at a later time. The connection procedure is as follows.

  1. Open the Mia Health app, tap "You" at the bottom right,

    Group 293

then "Manage devices," and select "Samsung."

    Group 295

  2. When prompted to download Health Connect, press "Download" and complete the download. After Health Connect is downloaded, press "Get started," then "Allow all" or "Heart rate," and then "Allow."

  3. Return to the Mia Health app and grant access to pulse data from Samsung by pressing "Got it!" twice.

  4. Ensure that the Samsung Health app has permission to transfer data to the Health Connect app. To do this, open the Samsung Health app and tap the three dots at the top right, then "Settings" and "Health Connect." Check "Allow all" and then press "Allow." Now press "App permissions" and make sure both "Mia Health" and "Samsung Health" appear under "Has access."

If you have done everything correctly, you should be able to open the Health Connect app and in the "Recent access" view see the following: Mia Health "Read: Vitals" and Samsung Health "Write: Vitals"
