1. AQ, VO2 max & Fitness Age

Why am I not getting any AQ at all?

To earn AQ, you need to engage in activities that elevate your heart rate. Even though activities like yoga and strength training are beneficial for your health and can feel intensive, they might not significantly increase your heart rate. Consequently, you may not earn many AQ. Research shows that endurance training has the greatest impact on cardiovascular health, with the most significant effects occurring at higher heart rates. However, you will earn AQ for any activity that raises your heart rate above a certain threshold, whether it's working in the garden, walking to the store, or participating in a cycling race.

Ensure that your watch measures your heart rate accurately. Remember that your AQ score increases the most when you maintain a high heart rate for an extended period. If your watch fails to register the increase in heart rate, it won't be reflected in your AQ score. You can check your heart rate measurements by examining the heart rate graph in the Mia Health app.

Verify that you have entered the correct information in the app. Personal details such as age, gender, weight, and maximum heart rate affect your fitness age and how quickly you earn AQ. Therefore, it's crucial to input accurate data. Tap "You" at the bottom right of the app and then "Health Profile" to view and modify personal information.
